A: Yes. The formula is non-comedogenic, meaning it will not clog pores. MCT oil and jojoba oil are both rated very low for comedogenicity. We recommend removing it at night with an oil cleanser for best results.
Q2: Does this smell strong?
A: No. The natural scent of shea butter and coconut is very mild. Some people notice a faint nutty or earthy smell. Most do not. We use no synthetic perfume.
Q: Can I wear this under makeup?
A: Yes. Apply Skin Armour first. Wait two minutes for it to absorb. Then apply your makeup as usual. It sits well under foundation and does not pill.
Q3: Is this safe for my child?
A: Yes. Non-nano zinc oxide is the safest sunscreen for children. It sits on top of the skin and does not absorb. Avoid the eye area. For children under six months, consult your pediatrician.
Q4: Can I use this during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
A: Yes. Mineral sunscreens are recommended during pregnancy because chemical filters can be absorbed into the bloodstream. As always, consult your doctor if you have specific concerns.
Q5: Why is there no SPF number on the bottle?
A: Lab testing for SPF is expensive and time-consuming. We are in the process. Until then, we will not guess or lie. 22% non-nano zinc oxide provides theoretical SPF 30 to 50 based on published research. Reapply every 2 to 3 hours for best protection.
Q6: How long will one bottle last?
A: One pump per day for face and neck lasts approximately 8 to 10 weeks. If you use it on your arms and hands as well, it will last 4 to 6 weeks.
Q7: Is this halal?
A: Yes. No animal products. No alcohol. No haram ingredients. The beeswax is ethically sourced.
